Crossbar Induction Bearing Heater

Manufacturer part: 6174K66

Heat bearings much more quickly and uniformly than cone and hot-plate heaters. These heaters use magnetic induction to heat but do not magnetize parts. Slide the bearing onto the crossbar and flip the switch to heat the bearing to 250° F. Heaters accommodate a range of IDs. For the fastest heating, use the largest crossbar that fits through your bearing. Heaters can also be used for demagnetizing. Temperature-indicating crayons (not included) are recommended. Riser Blocks—Riser blocks (sold separately) lift the heater’s crossbars to accommodate larger OD bearings.
