The premium abrasive stays sharp longer. A special fastener on the back of these discs allows you to easily swap one disc for another. Choose the fastener style that matches your tool or backup pad.Discs with fiber backing consist of multiple layers of cotton fiber embedded with aluminum oxide. They last even longer than cloth discs, plus dust and debris won't build up on the abrasive surface. For best results, use a disc that is one or two grits coarser than a standard cloth sanding disc.
