They’re marine grade, so they stand up to water, corrosion from salt spray, mildew, and UV light.Sika Sikaflex sealants meet NSF/ANSI 61 safety standards for use with drinking water.Elongation and joint compression/expansion tolerance indicate flexibility—the higher the values are, the more joint movement sealants can sustain. Sealants that are good for joining dissimilar materials also work well in environments with wide temperature fluctuation.
