With a top that overhangs the cover, this enclosure-like raceway keeps out rain and is rated NEMA 3R for protection from liquids and light splashing. It's also known as wire trough. Use it to protect short, straight runs of wire and cable. To run wire and cable into and out of raceway, drill holes and pull it through.Access wire and cable by removing the screw-on cover.Raceway that includes a bonding stud and grounding stud have added protection against static electricity. Use the bonding stud to prevent static sparking by connecting the raceway to other equipment. Use the grounding stud to draw static away from the raceway via a grounding path. This reduces the risk of fires and shocks due to a short circuit.
